Kaspersky has assumed a new form of attack against malware that spreads across the Internet. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 is an excellent anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-malware tool that insures protection against all viruses, Trojans, rootkits, spyware, and other malware. Sadly, it does not have firewall protection.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 has grown with age. Virus attacks are assuming new forms with the help of more sophisticated technology such as rootkits. There are many varieties of viruses and malware most of which are still unknown to the experts in the field. In such a scenario, defense software fails to protect computers from such attacks. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 is of great help in this grave situation because it is equipped with multi-attacking features.

Unlike the popular anti-virus software from well-known players such as Norton that have virus-specific software, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 is a stand-alone product that fights all types of enemies using just one sword. However, remember that it does not have a Firewall.

The most important quality of software is its size. Having said that, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 outshines its competitors once again with its smaller size. Kaspersky requires only 50MB of hard drive space compared to Norton’s 300MB. Kaspersky requires 512MB RAM for effective functioning.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7, however, becomes a costly affair when compared to Norton. It is available for $59.95 for a single-user license and $69.95 for a three-user license. This is much higher when compared to Norton Antivirus 2008 that costs $39.95 for single-user license.

Another reason for the popularity of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 is its simplicity and universal applications. Unlike Norton Antivirus that runs only on Windows XP and Windows Vista, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 2000.

The performance of Kaspersky is commendable. It has been provided with excellent heuristic features to identify new forms of threats. It offers signature-based protection, which is updated on an hourly basis. Another important feature is its rescue disk feature. In case of any unexpected attack, the operating system reverts back to its natural state. It offers an excellent interface to the user. The alert system is quite responsive. The red strips and the colorful layout offer a user-friendly interface.

In short, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 is worth buying. It is found successful in fighting many viruses and malware such as rootkits, Trojan, etc., that are found to be the most dangerous forms of attacks in the modern age. Having to deal with internet scams such as phishing and pharming, it is high time to replace the conventional anti-spyware and anti-virus software with modern software such as Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7 for enabling all-round protection for your data.
